Quinta do Lago is a brilliant holiday resort, but is most famous for being a world class golf resort. Therefore as you would expect Quinta do Lago is host to many fantastic sport shops. All of the championship golf courses at Quinta do Lago contain their own pro golf shop or a sporting boutique.

Tennis is another sport that is majorly successful and popular in Quinta do Lago. Due to this popularity there is a tennis academy located on the resort as well as tennis shops.

For a rainy day:

Although it is quite unlikely in the Algarve occasionally you may experience a rainy day. Quinta do Lago has some wonderful activities to experience whilst the outdoors is not an option. Close to the Quinta do Lago resort is the Forum Algarve which contains activities such as the cinema or bowling alleys to enjoy when you need an easy way to relax.

Quinta do Lago is located very closely to the city of Faro. Faro has a huge hypermarket which sells everything you could need for your villas to stock up on. The hypermarket here is cheaper than many of the other plazas mentioned so if you want a bargain here is the place to visit.

Shopping with children:

Sometimes you may want to go somewhere that your children will also enjoy shopping. Along the coastline there is another shopping centre that has facilities specifically aimed at children in Lagos. If you have a sweet tooth there is a fantastic chocolate shop that all kids are sure to love.

Each restaurant or cafe is aimed at families with high chair access and microwaves for baby food. The car parking here is free as well as WiFi access readily available. If you want a fun family day out then go and visit the shopping centre here.
