Do you have any idea what mobile marketing is? Have you heard of SMS Marketing?Do you use mobile marketing plan? If you have a plan in place already, are you looking to improve it? Is your mobile marketing strategy working with or against your business? Are you using your mobile marketing plan to your advantage? Mobile marketing is set to become increasingly more important for business owners. As with most business disciplines there are a few dos & don’ts you need to embrace to be successful. Here are a few of our top suggestions:

Don’t hassle your customers or contact list with useless messages. Always make sure that whenever you send a message it is relevant and worthy of their attention. A good example is in the field of commercial cleaning or office cleaning. Companies can use messaging to advise of arrival & departure time of remote staff. This way, they are actually adding valuer to their customer, not simply annoying them with calls that are not required. Unnecessarily contacting your customers with frequent, irrelevant messages is a sure way to destroy even the most carefully planned-our marketing campaign. A good rule-of-thumb is to make sure anything you send out is something that you would want to receive yourself and is something from which the recipient can derive some use.

It’s essential to bear in mind that your entire campaign should be built around your customers and prospective customers. It therefore follows that you need to be aware of your customers needs and wants if you want to properly market to them through mobile formats. For example,If your customers is in the landlords insurance market or the overseas travel market, to name but two at random, you need to ensure that you develop a campaign that reaches out to their core audience or potential audience. If you don’t know what your customers want,  the task of marketing and selling to those customers suddenly becomes doubly difficult

Any messages you send should be short and to the point. Don’t bore your prospects with long-winded messages. Ensure your communications can be digested and understood quickly and easily.

Take these simple tips into account and you could soon be on the way to a more successful marketing campaign
